KAWARAZAKI SHODO Japanese Woodblock Print Sazanka(Camellia) "SAZANKA" (Camellia) by Kawarazaki Shodo (1889 -1973). Nearly new condition. Paper size is 10 and 3/4 x 16 inch. Published by Unsodo. Japanese title, Unsodo seal, Yoshida printer's seal, Nagashima carver's seal and Gei watermark in left margin. "Shodo" characters in lower right of image. Genuine Japanese woodblock print. Undated. This later impression from original blocks. Wonderful detains with typical Unsodo printer's "smudge" in right margin. Very lovely flower print! The quality, colors and exquis ite nature these Japanese woodblock prints can not be fully appreciated with these inferior pictures. The colors on the print are a bit stronger, bold and more exciting. More pictures gladly supplied on request. Buyers of these prints will not be disappointed.
