Kaywoodie Estate PipeThe pipe is marked as follows:Super Grain (over) KaywoodieImported Briar (over) 5107CClover leaf stem logo.CHOPPED STINGER :(Please see the photos as I tried to capture everything about the pipe. 1930's amazing square shank Bulldog pipe with a taper stem. The stem is good condition but there is a bit of chatter and an overall roughness to it. When researching the she shape code I found the following:51 Screw in Drinkless Kaywoodie Super Grain, black vulcanite stem, Miami Brown finish (1930-1939 or 40)07C Large Square Shanked-Bulldog. Tapered Stem (1938-1972)So if I read this correctly you can date this to 1938-1940. Very good info on this pipe. Outer bowl is good with the very minimal sighs of prior handling. Rim is clean and has the same light signs of use. Inner bowl has light cake and a slight out of round feeling when running my finger inside the bowl. Inner bowl is smooth. Nice open draw and will sadly, in this case, pass a pipe cleaner. The length of the pipe is 5 1/4" and it weighs 1.5 oz. Outer bowl height is 1 7/8" and the outer width is 1 1/4".All dimensions are done to the best of my ability. Any props or display items are not included unless specified.
