Up for auction is a rare find!! A gown designed and created by Helen Rose (MGM Designer who one a bunch of Oscars) and Martha Weathered (well-known for her ladylike creations). This kelt green silk chiffon gown is gorgeous!! It fits my size 6 form, so I imagine it is a size 6. It is hand cut, hand sewn - a work of art. The v-back has two panels that criss cross to the front to make a self belt with 3 self-covered buttons at the waist. The gown has long sleeves w/bell cuffs at the ends, the neckline is like an illusion neckline, i.e., a strapless gown with a sheer layering of silk chiffon that allows you to see that the gown is really strapless. The left front side of the gown has some folds/gathering that makes the gown move with a gorgeous swing when you walk. The bottom of the gown has a fluted tier that further makes the gown so feminine. Take a good look at the pictures!!! The quality is amazing. Little to no damage that I can see!!!!
