This listing is for a Tureen or Covered Vegetable Dish made in Staffordshire, England. It is the Wayside Pattern for Kensington. The white background sets off the brilliant colors of the bunch of flowers in the center and the small sprigs on the border. There is a nice tight border of ripples around the body of the bowl. It is beautiful, both on your table or displayed in a china closet! It is in excellent condition, appears to have not been used or lightly used at best. No chips or cracks. It measures 11 1/4" from handle edge to handle edge and 6 3/4" to the top of the lid finial. The body measures 9" x 6 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep.I am listing more pieces to this pattern as well, so check it out!
