You are bidding on an Antique Mahogany Tall Case Longcase Grandfather Clock. This is a FULL SIZE Grandfather Clock in a beautiful Mahogany Grandfather Clock case and labeled on the case and the clock was done by King Arthur Clock Company with its maker engraving on the back of the works which is referenced in the photos. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and has a beautiful glass door at the top and the middle of the case with 3 Weights and beautifully rounded Pendulum with Harp Shaped design. It has a beautifully scrolled pediment top with finial carved at the center. It has individual panel set glass which is all beveled. The face is nicely gilded with a moon phase dial. The moon phase is RARE and has the Sun with and Moon for night so it can tell from AM or PM. I am not to familiar with grandfather clocks and this came from a private estate but the works are impressive with hammers on both sides as shown in one of the photos that hits the rods to create the Chime. It has a large single glass door with beveled edges and 3 weights along with its pendulum. It sits on beautifully bracket base with fluted columns at each side which are nicely fluted along the sides and sits on a beautiful bracket base with nicly reeded trim work. The dial is beautifully decorated keyholes as you can see in the pictures. I am no clock expert so if you have any questions about it internally I probably wont know but I do know the inside is all t, in tact, all original and nothing is missing but I am sure it will need to be tuned after shipment. I couldn't show the pictures but the name Ridgeway logo that is engraved on the back brass back plate and the logo is also engraved on the front of the face as well. It has a naturally figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. Because of its size it can be used in a Hallway or Foyer, Dining Room, or Living Room, Study or Parlor, or in a Bedroom or Boudior or in a guest room and anyw else throughout your home as a beautiful accent piece that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation and is an heirloom quality piece with quality and craftsmanship that is no longer found today.This piece was VERY WELL made and is all wood construction and the quality of this surpasses ANYTHING that you can find today but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape.
