It seems to tick but we have not cleaned it. It is intact with no cracks or damage. We could find no information on this clock online, so we think it is extremely rare. The dial has cracks but nothing to hinder its gorgeous appearance. The bottom of the Dial reads: Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co, New York, and United States. Some of the gold hands painted accents are deteriorating, but once again, it looks gorgeous as is. The hand painted Greek people look amazing and the paint over the porcelain is cracking with age.
