The King of Kings (Pathé, 1927). Jumbo Lobby Card Set of 8 (14" X 17"). A gorgeous set of oversize tinted lobby cards that provide a chance to see some of Cecil B. DeMille's best work close up. Note the careful arrangement of the mob scene outside the Judgment Hall, or the placement of the actors in the "Woman in Adultery" (Viola Louie) card. There is a beautiful card with portraits of the two Marys, Jacqueline Logan and Dorothy Cumming, and one of the best full-length photos of silent film star Logan that you're likely to see, as Mary Magdalene. Three cards have a diagonal crease in the lower left, a few have corner creases, two have minor corner chips, and one has a tear in the right side, with stains on the border. Fine/Very Fine.
