KURA Knotty Pine 2-door China Corner Cabinet Wavy Glass Lite Lovely corner cabinet salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The cabinet has 5 shelves: 2 on the bottom enclosed by a swinging door with wooden panel, 1 exposed in the middle, and 2 on top enclosed by a swinging door with glass. The lower compartment has 2 dense cardboard backings, and the rest of the cabinet is made of solid, knotty pine (not veneered). Each shelf has groves for standing dishes.All necessary hardware is included: 4 hinges, 2 knobs, and 2 magnetic locks to keep the doors shut. Condition : We acquired the cabinet in near mint condition. However, since the cabinet is front heavy, and we had it freestanding in a fairly tight space; it was bumped twice, and fell forward both times. The first time, it fell on some hardware, and the glass broke and several scrapes and dents were made along the sides. The second time, it fell on flat surface and the upper rail, of the upper door broke. We replaced the original, flat glass lite, with antique, cylinder glass. This glass was custom cut from old windows salvaged from our area. The uneven surface of the glass gives off distorted reflections, which has earned it the nickname "wavy glass."We fixed the break in the glass door by securing the 2 parts of the upper rail.
