60's Konica Auto S2 35mm Rangefinder Camera with f/1.8 Lens As-Is Classic vintage rangefinder in very nice cosmetic condition. Very little apparent wear, the only real flaw is some of the black paint rimming the back and side is worn off in a few places. Lens glass is in great condition - no scratches or fungus - focus is smooth. Rangefinder works great - maybe a tiny bit dark and/or hazy - I can only compare it to some other brands - this is the only Konica I have owned. Did not try to test the meter, though it has a clean battery compartment. Mechanically, everything seems really good (winder, shutter, self-timer ect). I did not test with film. The reason I am selling as-is relates to the lens mount. This camera is beginning to suffer from a slightly loose lens. Apparently this is a somewhat common problem with this model and I'm told is not a particularly difficult fix - I just already have a boatload of other cameras to repair - no time to deal with it. Obviously a very well built camera - fit in nicely with my small collection of Canon & Olympus RF's from the same era. Thanks for looking! High bidder to prepay plus shipping if applicable.
