Here for Sale from my own glass collection is this rare "Rio" Series Kosta Boda Bottle Vase. These bottles were produced in the 1980's and seem to be very thin on the ground. This bottle is signed on the base. Designed by Kjell Engman, a highly respected designer at Kosta Boda. It is believed numbers produced were low due to the costly production process. Bottle dimensions are as follows: Height 36 cms. Width approximately 23 cms at the widest point. Depth from tip of nose to the back approximately 14 cms. The bottle's face is as follows: Large eyes with eye bags underneath and a highly furrowed brow. The face has puckered lips and bulging cheeks (as if blowing at something). To sum up - a rare Kosta Boda Bottle offered in perfect condition, no damage whatsoever. Bottle also retains its original label to the back of the bottle. Please note, this is a UK Listing only.
