2 sets KUTANI Japanese saucers, bowls and spoons, (Pair) hand painted porcelain with gold accents. Exquisite, gorgeous, delicate, whimsical, beautifully shaped and incredibly well designed.... are only a few ways to describe this set.... Each bowl is 4" wide x 3" high, saucers 4 3/4" wide x 1" high, spoons are 5 1/2" long. The painted gold is really more of a true gold color in the actual pieces, (it appears more coppery in the photos..) These came from an estate w they were tucked away in storage for many years though I cannot be sure how old they may be, it does not look as if these were used much, if at all.... only some very minor wear visible... over-all excellent / very good vintage condition! No chips or repairs etc, t is a mar on the bottom of one spoon, and on the underside of one bowl (see pics) though it looks as if this happened in the firing process?... as the color is a metallic and not a scratch. Stamped GENUINE KUTANI on each piece except the spoons. A Truly Fabulous Set..! Please email with any questions you may have before bidding and Thanks for looking.....
