This is the perfect knife for carrying in your pocket. It is only 3" long folded. The blade is 2.5" long. At the hinge it has a satin finished steel bolster, or a polished brass bolster, your choice. The Napoleonic Bee, and the stainless steel spine is richly engraved brass. The blade is Swedish 12C27 stainless, highly polished and has the David Crossbow and the word Laguiole stamped on one side. At the hinge is stamped G.David, France. Light weight and beautiful. It comes with olive wood handles. NOTE THAT GRAINS WILL VARY BETWEEN KNIVES, this paticular shipment has a slightly darker color and less graining than previous shipments. The first picture shows two knives, one with satin bolster, one with brass. Right now I only have the ones with brass bolsters. The auction is for only one of the knives. New and unused. I import (or preferably go pickup) directly from France. I have included some pictures of the craftsmen at work in the G. David factory. Neat people!
