Large Old Amish Doll From a Historic Lancaster Estate Great Americana - Circa 1920s - NO RESERVE Measures 15" in height Soft body appears to be made of a kid leather-type material, possibly recycled glove Articulated legs and arms attached with with buttons Dressed in simple traditional costume of bonnet, long sleeve dress and apron Without facial features, in keeping with the Amish belief that one is not to make anything in the likeness of a human Keep in mind; this item has the wear indicative of age and being a ell loved child's toy, see photos The last doll we have from this collection Please keep in mind that our items are for those who want the character and uniqueness of bygone eras.
