Up for auction today is a lovely antique Wave Crest dish. it is marked "Trade mark Wave Crest" on the bottom. It is painted beige with a floral design painted on the front & top, some of the beige paint has worn off of the edges. It has a hinged gold rim. Once upon a time it had a beautiful peach satin lining, now unfortunately due to age & use it is missing from the bottom & the top still has the ripped up fabric holding on. No chips, cracks, or breaks. it is 3 7/8" tall, approx. 5" across the bottom & 4 1/4" across the lid. This is a lovely decorative piece.
