DESCRIPTION: Up for bid is a Large Assorted Lot of Kieler Zinnfiguren Lead Soldiers consisting of the following figures: Sixteen Confederate-Like Figures with what looks like a rebel flag. There appears to be no broken or missing parts. Eight Calvary Mounted Figures. There appears to be no broken of missing parts. Sixteen Roman Legion Figures. There are three figures that have missing swoards as shown in the last row. The others figures appear complete. Six Assorted Figures. One is a navel figure with rifle. All appear complete. Three Spainard-Like Conquistador Figures. All appear complete. Eleven Mixed Figures. All appear complete. Five Figures with Green Feathered Hats. All appear complete. There are a total of 65 figures that are nicely painted. As shown in the photos all can stand in position. I bought these at auction in the same lot. The Kieler box came with 20 figures and the others came in the open boxes marked "Made in Western Zone of Germany". There are no marking on the figures. Since the all came in the same auction lot, I assume that they are all Kieler figures. If you collect these types of figures, PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KIELER BRAND. COMPOSITION: Lead Based CONDITION: Item(s) : In general, all figures are in good condition with defects noted above. All are nicely detailed and painted. Box(es) : There are four boxes. One box is a covered box titled "Kieler Zinnfiguren Marke Kilia" This box has the wording "French Hussars on Picket Duty". I don't know which figures if any are related to this box. The other three boxes have no covers. They are stamped "Made in Western Zone of Germany" In general the boxes are worn, but still in usable condition. NOTATION: Warning: Small parts, not for children under 4 years of age. Item(s) NOT SEALED in their factory container will be sold as ' AS USED and AS DESCRIBED ' since I have no way to verify its original condition and usage.
