From a very nice estate, I'm offering this lovely large signed Camille Tharaud pate-sur-pate cobalt blue vase featuring a lovely maiden playing a triangle. The maiden is set against a cornflower blue background in a handpainted oval frame of gold diamonds, sawtooth, and dots. It measures 12 3/4" high by 4" wide by 3 1/2" deep; the top rim measures 2 3/4" across. This is being sold "As Is" because t is a large repaired area on the (plain) backside. (I've tried to show photos of the repair which goes straight down one way and curves up the other.) The good news is, it is on the back and does not affect the beautiful pate-sur-pate cameo on the front. T are no other chips, cracks, repairs, etc. The marks on the bottom indicate this could have been made as early as 1922, but not later than 1968. Shipping will be via insured USPS Parcel Post or Priority Mail. Shipment will be within 2-3 business days for money orders or PayPal; checks generally require 5-7 business days to clear before we can ship. Thanks for looking.
