A wonderful large Chinese cork scene in a deep red lacquered frame. A low, wide scene; it depicts two pagodas in a stylized oriental forest. There is also a pair of cranes and a pair of what look like swans (though I don't know if they have swans in China). The frame is a deep red, highlighted with small black mountain scenes. The base is very decorative, with piercing details throughout. Frame in good condition, as is glass. Measures 17" long by 2.5" wide by 5.5" tall. Large expanses of glass, hence postage.
