Mentioned in the Mullins Fastenau book "A Century of Royal Doulton Character & Toby Jugs." The back stamp says "Motorist." Approximately 7 3/4" tall. Made before "D" number assigned and before registration. Also, made before Royal Doulton settled on the production name "Veteran Motorist." This is the real deal - not a paint over - from the Royal Doulton Archives. Perfect condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Free shipping in the USA, all others $30.
