Awesome Stone SingleRing Bowtie Tube Pipe This is a nice stone bowtie tube pipe, medicine pipe from California from the mid 1900's or earlier. Tube pipes are the earliest known pipe form of the North American Indians. While some tube pipes were used for smoking, others were used as Shaman's Paraphernalia. A Shaman used tube pipes in several different ways for medicinal purposes. This pipe has a beautiful patina and except for a few fleabites here and there, it is in excellent condition. It measures 7 inches long, the ends are between 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 inches across and it weighs approximately 1 pound. This piece will make an excellent addition to any collection.
