This limited edition basket ball was hand carved by Armand LaMontagne, most likely from the basswood block used to make the Larry Bird sculpture in 1987. It is signed by both Larry Bird and LaMontagne. It is #24 of the limited edition of 100 and comes with its original base which has LaMontagne's logo on the bottom. It is in good condition with some fade if Bird's signature. It has had only one owner, someone who was involved with the founding of the New England Sports Museum.
