LATE 1920's BLACK & PEARL SHEAFFER BALANCE FOUNTAIN PEN Prev Stop Play Next A Sheaffer Balance Fountain Pen from the late 1920’s in marbled black & pearl with gold filled trim. In good condition no chips or cracks or personalisations just average surface wear consistent with a pen that has been used. Gold trim, ball end clip, in good condition. Common with this finish the pearl on the barrel has browned over time but it still is a very good looking used fountain pen. The fountain pen has a very smooth FIRM MEDIUM on the fine side of Medium 14k with Paladium mask LIFETIME Sheaffer nib. Measures 5 & ½ inches. The pen has been fully serviced, write tested and is all ready to you to use - would make a great sylish everyday user pen Unless stated all our pens are used vintage pens and so there are obviously going to be small amounts of wear normal in a used vintage pen but anything out of the ordinary is always noted.
