Hi And Welcome to my Auction~~Today I have here a Really Stunning Deep & Pale Lavender & White Lemoyne Star Quilt ~it is Master Quilted at approx 14 ~16 Tiny neat stitches per inch topside only ~~Along the Border there are Pretty Quilted Squares with a Quilted flower and it is chain quilted and in the center of each Chain is a Quilted Flower a Pretty Lavender Binding that is hand Stitched closed on the back Side and the back side is all white ~In between the Leymone Stars are More Quilted Squares ~The Deep Lavender Stars have a Ditsy Dot Print and the Pale Lavender Stars are a Solid print ~And The Same with the Squares this quilts fabrics are very well Coordinated ~ This Quilt Dates approx 1940~'s ~50's It is in Near Pristine Condition with only a small amount of some age Freckling along one quilted Chain in the stitching you have to really look to see it ~The Quilt Still Retains the pencil markings it shows no wear to any of the fabrics~ I do not think this Quilt had ever been used No Holes no Stains ~This Quilt is Stunning in person and the quilting Is approx 14 ~16 Tiny neat stitches to the inch Nice neat Small Stitches~counting the topside only ~ A Master Quilted Quilt ~ This is Just A Stunning Quilt In Pretty Spring Colors ~This Quilt would Date from approx 1940's ~1950's With The Prettiest Colors and Exquisite Design ~~This Quilt is in Near Pristine Condition ~~ It had a Gentle Quilt Bath But and it was laid out to dry in our Farm Fresh Country Air~So it is Fresh and Clean and it Still retains the pencils lines~ The Binding is an applied binding Hand Stitched closed on the backside This Quilt has medium to thin Batting All cotton Fabrics and Stunning Colors ~And a nice weight that it could be used year Round~~~ This Beautiful Quilt is Really Exquisite with Nice Tiny Even Stitches at approx 14~16 Tiny Even Stitches Per Inch Top side only I had to use a magnifying Glass such Tiny Stitches~ ~ This Quilt is Just as Charming and Stunning and Exquisite as can be Just perfect for Displaying In any manner that you chose to ~ This Is Not a New Quilt and Part of the Charm is That it is a approx 70 ~ year old Folk Art Quilt ~That has given Great Joy and Service for well approx 70 years and it Still has a Lot of Life Left to give another " Quilt Keeper " many Many More years of Joy ~ So if you are Looking for a Perfect Quilt please this is not it this is a 70 year American Folk Art Quilt It is not new But it is in Near Pristine Vintage Condition ~So In Perspective this Quilt has held up very well for being well approx 70 years old and it is Stunning And Just as Charming as can be ~~~ If This Quilt is Talking to you Please Listen Carefully because it is looking for a " New Quilt Keeper " to give it a new Home Please~~ ~ This Quilt was Expertly Executed ~And Expertly Quilted ~ The Lucky Winner is going to be Thrilled with this Beautiful Stunning Charming~ Folk Art Quilt from the approx. 1940's 1950's Era ~~With its Gorgeous Spring Colors And Stunning Design ~Just Imagine cutting and piecing with no Modern Cutters that we have today~ This is a Stunning Quilt it is all Hand Quilted with Nice small Stitches approx 14 ~16 Tiny even stitches to the inch ~ It Measures approx 80 inches by 100 inches ~ ~~This will be a great addition to your Collection this quilt as a lot of Personality ~~And makes an excellent Visual Display Quilt ~All Cotton Fabrics~This Quilt is very useable and is Really Beautiful and a very well executed Quilt ~~ You Will Love it it is Stunning !!!
