Lyndon B. Johnson 2 Pens & a Tie clip Nice lot for the collector of political items. I purchased these, among other items at a recent estate sale and I welcome you to bid and add them to your collection, they would make a very nice gift also. In this lot you get: The cardboard box that has seen better days. It has been scuffed from laying around in a desk drawer and the inside is dirty, but it has integrity and luckily after all these years is still with the pens T are 2 pens in this lot. The note indicates that the box came with one pen, I don't know w the 2nd one came from but they both look alike on the outside. Both pens are made by Eversharp, have Lyndon B. Johnson in gold on one side of the pen barrel and the Presidential Seal on the other. The ink cartridges of both pens has been removed, this was done prior to my purchase. I would think that a replacement cartridge could be found and the pens made working again. "One of the pens used by the President in signing H.J. Res. 81, to amend the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 to increase the amount authorized for the Interstate System for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1967, to authorize the apportionment of such amount, and for other purposes."
