8 fine lead INDIAN ARMY WEST INDIA REGIMENT CAPTAIN & SERGEANT by Anthony Wood DESCRIPTION Lot 2 of 11This auction is for 8 vintage solidcast lead Indian Army West India Regiment soldiers. The figures were made in England c.1980's and painted by Anthony Wood but I have been unable to find their maker (I believe they were made in Birmingham if that helps). The group comprises of :- 7 soldiers standing at ease with rifles including a sergeant and a British captain with a sheathed sword. The soldiers are well modelled with fine painted detail and they are approximately standard 54mm scale painted solidcast lead figures. The soldiers are in excellent original condition with minimal paint loss and they stand and display well. A superb group of vintage lead Indian Army West India Regiment figures for your collection......well worth a bid.
