Lego Technic Circuit Shock Racer (Set #8422) was created in 1995, has 315 pieces, and features a motorcycle racer. This set is for children ages 9+ and is suited for an individual looking to be challenged. Although this set is not considered difficult, it uses some more advanced building techniques not suited for the Lego beginner. As I mentioned, this set features a motorcycle racer, however, it also has instructions to build a dragster racer (See pictures) for twice the fun & twice the challenge. By purchasing a 9 volt motor & battery pack, your child can bring these sets to life as they race across the floor. Lego Technic Air Enforcer (Set #8444) was created in 1999, has 307 pieces, and features a combat/enforcer style helicopter. This set is for children ages 9+ and is also suited for an individual looking to be challenged. This set is in the same difficulty level as the Circuit Shock Racer and is a great compliment to the challenged builder. This set features the combat style helicopter, but there are several other simpler building designs for additional entertainment. Either with the same or with a second 9 volt motor & battery pack, this helicopter can give chase to the motorcycle racer or challenge the motorcycle racer through an imaginary obstacle course.
