Up for bid is a beautiful art nouveau stein, made by the Lenox China Co. Ca. 1906. It is in their "Monk" pattern. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. It measures about 5" wide at the handle, by about 5 5/8" tall. It is marked "Belleek" with a logo inside a circle with a painter's palet. This is a great vintage stein, it's the first time we've ever seen one, this one has classic Roseville styling to it, with the bottom trimmed in a "thatch wood" type trim. The monk is drinking from a flask, carrying a basket with grapes and another wine flask. T is a lot of nice detail, and I find no crazing evident. The pattern is on one side only. What a neat stein! If we make an occasional mistake, we will own up to it. You can bid with confidence. Reasonable wear may be expected on some of the vintage items we sell, please understand this.
