Large Majolica Daisy Compote by Griffen Smith & Hill or Etruscan, it's quite large, 5in. high by 9in. wide, nice bright colors and good detail, it's marked on the bottom ( see photo ) with the impressed mark, it's in good condition with no chips, it has some staining on the inside of the bowl from age and use but other than that it displays well and is a nice example of this famous companies work. GUARANTEED OLD Contrary to what e.bay tells you I do ship by UPS in the U.S. and by Priority Air mail out of the U.S. Because of weight, size and amount of insurance I find it impossible to quote an exact shipping cost until the article is packed, I will however be more than happy to give you a close estmate if you contact me, I charge whatever UPS or the post office charges me, I have no hidden handling charges as I see some of the sellers on e.bay seem to have. Also I'll be more than happy to take paypal from any buyer out of the U.S.only as a convenience but not within the U.S as I find it impossible to use them successfully without losing money to them.
