LG.~NATURAL~PRIMITIVE~WOODEN~DOUGH BOWL~TRENCHER This auction is for a large primitive handcarved dough bowl. This bowl is a great primitive piece. I really like the shape of this one. It has a wider opening, that slims down to a more narrow base. Since it was handcarved it has it's own unique shape. T are some old age splits on this bowl that I have tried to show in the pictures. None of them detract from the bowl and some are just from the wood grain. It is still solid enough for holding anything you'll add to it. The bowl originally had 4 handles on the ends, but one is worn down a bit. I love the shape and depth of the bowl, more unusual for bowls I usually can find. This has got to be one of my most favorite shaped bowls that I have been able to list recently, a very good find! I love that the wood is still unfinished, and in a natural condition. The bowl measures 30 inches long, from end to end, 16 inches wide and 8 and inches deep. This will make a great holder for magazines, and paper. I love to use these the most for holding firewood by my fireplace. This will also look great on a harvest table with your favorite fillers.
