Both units are equipped with LGB 55020 MTS decoders for digital control. These locomotives work on both analog and digital layouts. The F7-A is the powered unit and the F7-B is the "dummy" sound unit. When the the F7-B is plugged into the F7-A, the speakers are activated in both units. Both speakers have also been upgraded. They have been tested and run great! The sound is loud and clear and all the lights work. All the parts, sound trigger magnets and instruction booklets are included. They come in their original boxes and packaging. It is G-Gauge/Scale.
