Liberty Belle, Sesquicentennial, 1776 - 1976, 150 years Of American Independence. Soft yarn filled doll from the 1926 Sesquicentennial Celebration held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, about 12" tall by 5 ½" wide at the skirt bottom, the skirt is actually the Liberty Bell with red-white-blue cap, shirt and stockings, signed: Pat. Appl'd For, Annin & Co. NY on the back. The colors are a bit faded but still decent as shown in the images. The gold stitching around the edge is complete and strong. There are a few thin spots and pulls with the only significant damage being two spots on the back of the head and one on the thigh that are worn with the inner yarn showing + an old tear at the neck that was sewn up long ago.
