PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN LIMOGES (newly listed) Here is an outstanding antique Limoges Porcelain Creamer and Sugar Set hand painted in the Art Nouveau style of the early 1900's. Signed with the initials "C B" or "G B", by a professional artist at the Stouffer Decorating Studio in Chicago, the set is decorated with large magenta blossoms and lush green foliage. Each stylized flower and stem is finely outlined in gold gilding and accents of black against a background of creamy yellow and ivory. The rims and handle are beautifully decorated with rich gold gilding. Measurements: Sugar Bowl ~ 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" & 2 1/2" tall Creamer/Pitcher ~ 5" handle to spout x 3" & 3 1/2" tall The reverse bears the underglaze factory mark of Delinieres Co "D&Co France", as well as the overglaze red decorating mark of the Stouffer Studio "Stouffer Hand Painted", used circa 1900. This fine porcelain Limoges Set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or wear. A gorgeous addition to any Limoges, Pickard or Stouffer collection!
