Hello! Here for bids is a pair of K-line SP Daylight colors E-9 AA Diesel Engines. With Railsounds and TMCC. K-line trains item # K-28882. The cab#'s are 6053 and 6054. Both units are powered. I bought these new at a hobby store back in early 2007. I ran them when I first bought them for about 20 minutes, then put them away and they have been sitting ever since then. They are in like new condition. I think these are from the K-Line 2005 1st edition catalog, before Lionel bought out K-Line. They have smoke and if I remember right, they have a Mars light on the front. (I haven't ran them since I bought them, so I think there is a Mars light.) And they have the electrocouplers too. Traveling up the coastline from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Southern Pacifics Daylight passenger cars are just as beautiful as the scenic route they traveled. The E-9 Diesel Engines leads what was commonly known as "The Most Beautiful Trains in the World." Decorated in the unforgettable color scheme of the Southern Pacific, these stunning pair of diesel units was one of several that pulled the Daylight streamliners following the final run of the GS steam locomotives in 1955.
