This is a Lionel 239 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive from 1965-66. The locomotive features die-cast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. This engine has the Scout-type motor. This locomotive is in nice shape, complete with no broken or missing parts. It has a few scratches and nicks along the edges of the cab roof and walkways. T are no broken edges or deep mars in the body, but t are a few too many light scracthes to consider this item Excellent. However, the paint and lettering is complete and has not faded. It is all original with no reproduction parts. Inspected by both our in-house Lionel Postwar experts and by our Authorized Lionel Service Station, we guarantee this item is completely functional and operable.
