Offering a classic early first issue Postwar Green 2402 Passenger Car and Original Box with the uncommon "O" stamp associated with and correct for the very earliest 1948 issue of the great 2140WS/671 set that also contained the lit back-up lights in the tender.Nice car body; good and even color/luster.Somewhat more faint accents than usual, but gentle use overall.Good skirt and vertical edges without chips and clean graphics, and those mellow amber window inserts..The OB is square with nice color and vivid graphics. T is one tuck flap missing.Note that other flaps are either fully or partially paper attached, but someone who was a serious collector also carefully and skillfully reinforced the flaps from within as well to stop dead any further deterioration. It did.Shelves very well, especially for one of these early usually frayed and frizzy soft cardstock boxes compared to most, let alone for set inclusion, and probably why it is still this nice.
