Lionel 6-27941, Mint Scale "O" 3854 Operating PRR Merchandise Car The Operating Merchandise Car is an "O" scale model of the original Merchandise car issued in 1946/1947, which is today highly sort after by collectors. This Merchandise Car is a reissue of that car. It is a very special model as it was released as a limited special car to go with the 6-38338 Berkshire Freight set. The difference between this car (6-27941; "3854") is that this car has Brown sliding doors. The "3854" Operating Merchandise Car that comes in the Berkshire Freight set has the same Number "3854" but no other Lionel number and It has BLACK Siding doors. The Operating Merchandise Car comes with 6 packages taped under the body of the car. The operating manual is included as shown in the pictures. To put the car into operation each of the 6 packages will be loaded into car through the hatch in the top of the car. The TCA rating on this car is C-9 because th box was openned to take the pictures shown here. It has never been on the tracks or operated. It comes to the successful bidder with all the original packing material as shown. This Operating car is a must have any serious Lionel Collector.
