For auction is a Lionel 317 Trestle Bridge in its original box. Lionel produced the 317bridge from 1950 to 1956. Because of the OPS sticker on the box, this bridge was likely made around late1951 to 1952. The bridge is gray. It’s a slightly darker shade of gray than one usually finds on these bridges. There is no rust. There are a few places on the base where one can see tiny chips in the gray paint (see pictures). There are no scratches on the base where track would normally be set, hence I don’t think track has ever been placed on this bridge. I'd rate this bridge as at least Excellent-plus; it could be Like New. However, please let the pictures be your final guide to determine condition. The box is solid with all flaps and no tears. There is no writing. There is, however, some minor fraying, and price sticker discoloration (see pictures). Although I have minimal feedback, please . I am in the process of thinning out a lifetime postwar Lionel collection that started in the mid 1970’s. I have over 35 years collecting and operating experience: member of TTOS since 1978; member of TCA since 1979; and LCCA since 1980. All items are professionally packaged. Buyer to pay shipping charges specified above for USPS Priority Mail. I ship only to the 50 United States. PayPal only.
