It em: This 4-8-4 Hudson in Atlantic Coast Line livery was only offered for one year in the 1980 J.C. Penney Christmas catalog and is considered a rare collectible locomotive as only 2,250 were made and sold out within a month. The unit was manufactured by Lionel but was never listed in an Lionel sale catalogs. The engine has only been test ran while in my possession just prior to it being listed. It em Description: Built and offered for the 1980 Christmas season only,4-6-4 Small Hudson, Uncatalogued by Lionel, Gun-metal-painted die-cast Alco-style boilernumbered 2065-15 found on inside of the boiler casing. Took several hours to research the history of this locomotive as I couldn't find the model number. · Known as The Silver Shadow, has white tires and high-gloss black paint beneath the white-painted running board edge. All in all a beautiful locomotive. · Steam chest side is decorated in white with a rectangle, inside of the rectangle is another rectangle with rounded corners · Loco has smoke, sound of steam, Electronic whistle, Headlight, Type III AC brush motor, three-position E-unit located on top and immediately ahead of cab (see pictures), wired tether connection to tender, tender is equipped with underside water pickup chute. · The tender has four-wheel Symington-Wayne trucks on a 2046 streamlined body · This model was read more
