Selling off some great stuff. Here is a vintage Lionel 6446 Boxed Grey Norfolk & Western long covered hopper in very good condition. Nothing is broken. NO CHIPS or gouges or cracks... it has number 546446 on car.. A little dusty in the metal bracket area where the trucks are connected to the car and needs some WD 40 clean up. ALL hatches work nice but have faded in to several shades of grey but NO REPRODUCTIONS. just from sitting on a layout for a long time. One couplers is later shiny pin style and works great. Other truck is original and needs a new spring. For the purists, one truck appears to have been replaced in its life with a staple end truck. Its a great looker still , has been used of course and shows a little wear on the lettering from handling. The box is a pre 1955 box, has one end taped shut with old yellowed tape and other end has all flaps. SOme writng on box says "top" in big pencil letters. I rate this box a 5-6 condition at best its better than a repro and is still nice and square.I am TCA since 1971 Buyer pays .$8.00 SHIPPING . and anywhere in the first 48 US STATES .
