For sale are 2 Lionel complete setboxes. The Auction is for the set boxes only, not trains included, the components listed are for reference only of what the sets originally came with! Both boxes are in similar shape in that they are complete, have all flaps and are not repaired but do have some creases, writing, small tears. Still, they are very presentable and with a little work could be improved greatly. It is getting harder and harder to find these older setboxes in any kind of shape that is usable and when filled will greatly improve the value of your components and the desirability.First setbox would have included the following items when issued:1455WS Steam Freight Set that Lionel made in 1949. It included the #2025/6466WX Steam Engine and Tender, #6462 NYC Gondola, #6456 Hopper, #3472 Operating Milk Car, and #6357 SP CabooseThe second setbox would include as follows when issued: 1469WS 027 freight train with smoke and whistle ,, 2035 steam loco, 6466W LL tender with whistle, 6456 LV hopper , 6462 NYC gondola, 6465 Sunoco tank, 6257 SP caboose. If you have the items already that fill these sets, or want to fill them yourself, these would be fairly easy to find the components and would be a great project to build the complete sets.
