Up for auction is a Lionel Junior O-Gauge 1700E Train Set in excellent original condition. This set was made from 1936-1937. Nothing is cracked or broken. The fluted chrome is shiny and bright and the red color is strong. All of the lettering is intact. All of the wheel journals are present and shiny. The locomotive runs great, the E-unit works properly (forward - neutral- reverse), and the headlight works correctly. There are the usual scratches, slight oxidation, and paint loss from being 80 years old.Comes with the locomotive, (2) 1701 coaches, and (1) 1702 observation car. There are no boxes.This is a really nice set that would make a great addition to your operating railroad / collection.Please feel free to ask questions
