Offered at auction is this Rare and Rough Original BOX & Liner for the Lionel PREWAR Whistling DIECAST TENDER #2226WX [ the Large all Metal 12 Wheeled Tender Lionel produced from 1938-42 , the correct Tender for the Big 226E Engine and the Famous semi-scale #763 HUDSONS ] This One is in Rough shape , missing and taped Flaps all around but does have a decent Original LINER ... I Never know what anyone wants from BOXES ,but this is one of the hardest to find prewar Boxes ...in my Opinion still a vintage Lionel TENDER BOX in Usable Condition [ Barely ]
