Lionel 6477 Miscellaneous Car is authentic Postwar which originally had silver pipes and metal stakes. This flat car with its original bulk head ends is overall in a C-6 very good to C-7 excellent grade status... ***There was an attempt to glue the angle support of the bulk head to the flat car from the previous owner ( I know...tsk, tsk, tsk,)...but fortunetly it is barely noticeable and the bulk head is removable as it should. Why it was graded as such. The bulk head ends are complete except one has a broken off mounting tab...why it was initially glued...again...tsk, tsk, tsk,. The four corner steps are all in tack The brake wheels are all present and in tack. The white serif lettering is bold and crisp. The AAR trucks are in excellent condition with no signs of rust nor oxidation. The diecast truck wheels show very minor track wear if any at all. The magnetic knuckle couplers spring open as they should.The tie downs utilize the existing molded stake pockets of the flat car...no alterations nor harm done to the flat car...100% originally in tack.The new load consists: 1932 Buffalo Type 50 Fire Engine from the Montville Fire Department, Montville, N.J.
