This auction is for an early Prewar Lionel #2810 Operating CRANE CAR ...t ... This is an all metal Large O-Guage Crane , about 14 inches long , Made from 1930-42 , this is the Later version , with Vermilion , Green & Cream Color scheme and BRASS trim..#2810 Nickle Numberboards & Lionel Lines plates ....this appears to be a very well done RESTORATION ... , No rust , all the cup style Knobs & Brass Gears intact , everything works to raise & lower Boom & Hook and also to rotate the Cranes CAB,...Cast BOX style couplers ...The Tinplate Trucks have Nickle Journal boxes ...The bottom looks very clean and the Brace mechanism is all intact and works perfectly!...very scarce vintage Lionel CRANE ...nice item...
