This Lionel prewar #69 Operating Warning Signal was produced from 1927-1935. It is 9" tall. It is in original condition and rates an easy low excellent. It has a few minor chips and there is a bit of layout over paint on the inside lip of the base. There has been a little touch-up where the layout paint touched the upper edge of the base. This nickel version is much harder to find than the earlier brass version The mechanism works, the bell isn't real loud but a little adjustment should help that. The nickel crossing sign has black lettering and is a bit wavy. The nickel mechanism and bells were polished. Please e-mail with questions and thanks for looking!
