Up for auction is a 1974 Limited Edition Service Station Special Diesel Engine pair By Lionel The Rio Grande F-3 A A F-3 "A" Diesel 6-8464 and 6-8465 F-3 "A" Dummy Unit In "O"scale Both units are in like new condition and have never been run . They were displayed in a glass case. The F-3's have the following features:Produced 1974 only0-gauge powered and dummy unitsSilver and yellow body with black markings, green hoodRio Grande logoBoth A units are lightedSingle Pullmor motor, 3-position reversing Forward, Neutral, ReverseDiecast frames and trucks. Instructions, inserts and original boxes are included. Boxes have repaired tears. This engine heads the 1450 D&RGW Service Station Special set.Min operating radius 0-31. Built in U.S.A.NOTE: Although these engines were never run, by storing them in the original boxes and removing a few times, the Paint on the power A unit shows some rub markings and coloration (see the pictures). The Dummy A unit has a paint chip on the nose from handling (also see picture).
