Lionel #101, All Original, Prewar Standard Gauge, 3 Piece Bridge Set. Produced from 1920 to 1931. Cood to Very Good Condition This auction is for a Lionel Prewar, All Metal Standard Gauge, #101 Bridge set. It consists of a #104 Pea Green Center Span, and two Pea Green and Cream Approaches, Catalog #100 for the two approaches. These three bridge sections are All Original. The Standard Gauge track is mounted to the bridge sections. This is is a rare, hard to find, all original C-6 Bridge. This bridge is between 78 and 89 years old. It has survived very well. T are a few minor surface rust spots, and many paint chips. The bridge is strong, with no dents on any section. The track is in very good condition, some connection pins are missing. Cleaning the top of the rails, will put this bridge back into perfect operating condition. The total length is 42 inches, and the three sections weigh 5 pounds. One of the four wood post top finials is missing. This should be an easy re-pro part to find. Nothing un-expected for this old an item. The new owner can decide weather to repaint or leave original. I would leave it as is, all original, as this reflects all the joy and fun this train bridge brought to some very lucky little boy in the 1920's.
