Up for auction is a delightful ALL ORIGINAL LITTLE LULU cloth doll by Georgene Averill. I received this item over 50 years ago and I have been it's only owner. LITTLE LULU has her original yarn hair, original red hair ribbon, and original cute dress of red cotton with white rick rack trim. The white metal snap on the back of her dress is original. Her original, white cotton underpants complete her wardrobe! LULU is approximately 14" tall with original stuffed fabric and working swivel neck. LULU's painted molded face has it's original lightly blushed color, black eyes/eyebrows, and red smile with red point mark on nose. There has been no repair work done on her face. There is a wear spot and rub line on LULU'S right cheek and light rub marks on left cheek. The underpants are a little loose around the waistband. LULU's seam down her back has been restiched, by hand. All other seams are original and intact. Please see photos. LULU has been stored in a non-pet, climate controlled, non-smoking environment for her entire life. LULU is ADORABLE!
