Rare Find! I found this used Radiosonde in Winter Garden, Florida on 9-12-19. The balloon was popped and had floated down with the plastic orange parachute. The strings are tangled from the flight, but all other parts seem to be intact. I did not open the insulation to see what was inside. The insulation is 5"x6"x3". The parachute when spread out is approx. 45" across. You will be buying this item as is, the way it was found on the ground. This is what is written/printed on the insulation:Harmless Weather Instrument This is a Radiosonde, a balloon-borne instrument used to obtain high altitude weather data. It is not dangerous and is of no further use. There is no need to return this product.
