is a sharp 8 by 10 photo of either Locomobile Vanderbilt Cup winner "Old 16" or the sister car engine on a stand at the Locomobile factory. Note the make-and- break ignition is in place and also the original carburator. I bought this photo in the 1970s when I owned a 1908 and a 1909 Locomobile and had a strong interest in the make. This photo was printed from one of the factory original 8 by 10 glass plate negatives by rail road photographer and author Ron Ziel. Two prints were made, one for me and one for Austin Clark owner of the glass plate. A rare great shot from the factory of a famous car raced in the Gordon-Bennett and also the Vanderbilt Cup trials and the 1905 race. Photo much better than the scan as imperfections are on plastic with e-Bay written on it. Low starting price with no reserve! (see photo) Please check my other items.
