* Very Long Tangerine Orange Amber Mala. * Nice,subtle flowering. * 103small to medium sized beads + 2 beads on tassels + Buddha head. * Made by hand more than 80 years ago. * I purchased these old beads from a collector in Shanghai, China, who acquired them from Tibet. * Size: 14mm x 11.5mm, 1,620mm overall outside circumference Millions of years ago, a conifer tree oozed resin, and a treasure was created. Fossilized amber has been coveted by countless civilizations, as far back as ancient Egyptians. It has been said "Once you own amber, it owns you." Amber BEADS are said to dispel anxiety, soothe the soul, insure safe journeys, ward off the forces of darkness, and bring good luck.
